Metro Detroit by the book

With a rich history that spans more than 50 years, the Wayne State University Press has established itself as a leader in publishing academic books. More recently, however, WSU Press has made overtures in discovering local talent and topics beyond the scholarly realm and successfully infused them into the regionís creative class. "There is a community of not only people who are artists, writers, and musicians, but a community of people who value all of that," says Jane Hoehner, director of the WSU Press.
